1. What type of work would I actually be doing?

A.    The type of work you will be doing from your virtual home office as a Virtual Home Agent will be to receive and service "inbound' customer service and support calls for major companies. Online training and certification classes will be available through our client and requires a certification fee to be paid.

2. What type of computer or other equipment will I need?

A.   Some of the equipment you will need to conduct business on a day-to-day basis is a computer, a dedicated land line telephone line, a telephone headset and a "wired" high speed internet service. As an independent contractor you will also be responsible for maintaining your own equipment.
 
Please note:  You may be required to service using a land line telephone. VOIP telephone and wireless internet connections may not be allowed by some of our clients.

3. Will I be an employee of Vega Star Systems, LLC?

A.    No. You will not be an "employee" of Vega Star Systems, LLC, you will be an Independent Contractor, working as an "extension" of our agent outsourcing staff; the same as if you worked for a employment placement agency. The only difference is you will be working from your home office. You will receive a 1099 from Vega Star Systems, LLC. at the end of the year to file your taxes. Therefore, no taxes will be deducted from your paycheck.

4. Who determines which company I will provide service to or which certification class I can take?

A.    You do!  New client opportunities are posted regularly. You will choose which client you want to service, based on the type of business, the amount of service hours required and the pay rate or performance incentives offered. Upon completion of your certification training and you will provide service via telephone, chat and/or email support. Remember, YOU decide which client you will be servicing by completing the required online certification training.

5. If I enroll in a certification class and drop the class or if the class is canceled do I get a refund?

A.    The average cost to enroll in client certification training may range from $19.00 up to as much as $249.00 based on the client opportunity. Unfortunately refunds are not provided once you have paid for a class.  Sometimes, based on the reason the class was canceled or dropped you may be provided a "Voucher" to apply toward the cost of a future class. Please be advised, vouchers normally expire three to six months from the date of issue, so you will need to apply the voucher as payment toward another certification class before the voucher expiration date.

6. Are there any physical requirements and does it matter what state I live in?

A.    There are no physical requirements. We are a Virtual Services Corporation based out of Manvel Texas, but you are not required to live in the state of Texas. Unfortunately, members living in the following states are not able to service with Arise, but can still become affiliates with Vega Star:

  • California
  • Connecticut
  • Maryland
  • Massachusetts
  • New York
  • Oregon
  • Wisconsin

7. Will I be allowed to service calls for more than one client?

A.    Yes. A few things to consider, each client will have a minimum number of hours you will have to commit to. Therefore if Client #1 requires you to work a minimum of 15 hours per week and Client #2 requires a 25 hour week minimum how many more hours per week will you be able to handle?

Please note: Not all clients we provide service to offer full-time hours (40+ hrs wk) so please consult with us before choosing a specific client to service.

8. What type of companies will I be working with?

A.    We are not allowed to list specific company names, they will be provided once you have completed your online certification (CSP 101) training.

9. Why should I become an agent with Vega Star Systems?

10. Do you require a credit check or run a background check?



A.    Although we do not run a credit check, there is a national background check required. Our clients are looking for professionals with a high level of integrity, therefore all applicants must successfully pass the background check before completing the enrollment process.

The Background Check for potential Client Support Professionals (CSP) in the Admissions process will include, but may not be limited to: 


Multi-State Criminal + Sex Offender Search 

SSN Trace + Past Address History Verification Report 

A County background check report for each of the addresses associated with
the Potential CSP over the last 7 years. This address history is included in the
SSN trace + Past Address history report 

The background check is conducted by a third party vendor. The cost for your background check can be as little as $7.95, but may very based on the state you live in. The background check is not a credit check, so your credit history may not be a factor during the Arise enrollment process.

11. How long is the online training and will I get paid during training?

A.   Your online client certification training will run anywhere from 10 days up to 45 days, depending on which client you will be working with.  The online classes usually run 4 hours per day and are normally held on weekdays only. ?You will ?not? be paid during certification training?, but some of our clients may offer certification performance incentives of up to $350.00 or more once you have completed certain requirements.


Once you complete your training and receive your official certification notice you will normally begin working within 48 to 72 hours after you are certified. Payroll Direct Deposits for production service will post to your bank account on the 15th and 30th of each month based on the guidelines below. In addition, Earning Statements will be emailed on the day prior to direct deposit posting.

If you provided service anytime between the 1st through the 15th of any month you will receive your direct deposit around the 29th, 30th or 31st of that month.

If you provided service anytime between the 16th of the month through the 30th you will receive your direct deposit around the 14th, 15th or 16th of the following month.

Example #1: If you provide service between the 1st through the 15th of the month, the pay cycle does not end until the 15th. At that time the client has to process all the service revenue and pay Arise, which takes a few days. Next Arise has to process and pay Vega Star Systems, LLC, which is normally around the 23rd or 24th. Finally our payroll dept and our bank needs time to process and deposit to your bank. Therefore, if you provided service anytime between the 1st through the 15th of any month you will receive your direct deposit 
around the 29th, 30th or 31st of that month. The same process applies when you service between the 16th and the 30th.

Example #2: If you provide service between the 16 through the 30th of the month, the pay cycle does not end until the 30th. At that time the client has to process all the service revenue and pay Arise, which takes a few days. Next Arise has to process and pay Vega Star Systems, LLC, which is normally around the 9th or 10th. Finally our payroll dept and our bank needs time to process and deposit to your bank. Therefore, If you provided service anytime between the 16th of the month through the 30th you will receive your direct deposit 
around the 14th, 15th or 16th of the following month.

12. Why do I have to pay for the certification classes to get this job?

 

A.    WE DO NOT OFFER JOBS OR HIRE EMPLOYEES.

This is a business opportunity for you to work at home as a virtual call center agent. This means you will be working as an "Independent Contract Agent", not an employee. Your status as an independent agent means that you will actually be operating as "your own business"; contracting your services to our business as an independent contract agent. You will receive your service revenue (earnings) on the 15th and 30th of each month through our bank direct deposit. You will also receive your IRS form 1099 at the end of the year showing your total earnings for IRS tax reporting.

Remember, as with any business there will always be some initial start-up costs for things like office equipment, your computer, phone lines, internet service and training.

If you wanted to attend a trade school, such as a beauty college or a real estate certification program, you would expect there would be costs associated with certification class or enrollment. This will also be the case with our client sponsored certification classes which will normally run from ten days of training up to six weeks of live online instructor lead training. Certification cost will vary. Certification classes start as low as $19.95 based on the class you select. All certification classes are online live instructor lead client certified training programs. One you complete the certification training and are "certified" you will normally begin working within a few days.

13. How much money can I earn through my virtual home office?

A.    Although pay rates may vary from client-to-client, the range of revenue earned plus incentives may range from $9.00 to $19.00 per hour!

This is not including our incredibly lucrative referral program that pays you commissions on a 2 tier program per referral! With our referral program alone your income could skyrocket to unimaginable levels. There are no limits. You do the math.


Most clients actually pay on a "per minute rate" or a "per call rate" for time you spend servicing customers. The range listed above is an average based on historical per minute or per call rates and performance incentives paid to our top performers. The rate of compensation you receive will be based on your actual rate of service revenue as outlined in your Statement of Work (SOW) agreement, your performance and service time.

Consider the following...

You will have no commuting time, no cost for gas, you'll save money from not buying lunches or paying for dry cleaning; not to mention the reduced risk of a car accident while commuting to and from work each day, reduced vehicle maintenance and fewer miles added to your vehicle every day. High miles on a vehicle WILL decrease the value of your vehicle. Best of all, you choose the number of hours, the time of day, the days you want to work and most important, the days you don't want to work!

Considering all the above factors, our pay rates may net you more spendable cash than if you were being paid a rate of $20-$25 per hour at your current place of employment. This might be the perfect time to give your boss the "Pink Slip" or tell him or her... You're Fired!

14. Is there a qualification to earn from the referral program?

Yes. You must maintain minimum SOW metric requirements as outlined in your contract with Arise before you begin servicing.
